An oxidizer, like Dazzle Amaze or Mineraluxe Oxygen, is a great way to ‘shock’ your tub or pool and enhance the waters dazzle and sparkle. Oxidizers will destroy chloramines and reduce waste by literally burning it off. The only thing left is oxygen. When you’re using one of these products, make sure you run your jets a full cycle and leave your lid open so the water can gas off.
Also keep in mind that an oxidizer should not be your sole form of keeping your water clean and should be used in partnership with a proper sanitizer such as Chlorine or Bromine.
